Who is Bo Wullings?
Bo Wullings started swimming competitively at the age of twelve, with the support of his parents and continued until he was twenty-two. Despite rigorous training, he did not reach the Olympic level, so he decided to take up rowing during his college years. Leveraging his physical talents, he eventually achieved success at the European Championships, World Championships, and various World Cups. Through his remarkable journey, Bo has gained valuable insights.

During the talent conversation, it became apparent that Bo scored high on the drive for "Awe," resulting in "Respectful" as his talent. This talent emerged at the beginning of his sports career, where his coach played a crucial role. He was obedient in the process and had great respect for his coach. However, this could also be a pitfall for him, as not all coaches reciprocated the respect for the athlete. Reflecting critically on this now, he is determined to carve his path.

With his experience, Bo is now heavily involved in talent development as a recruiter. He still values learning from others, aspiring to inspire others to gain insight into their talents. By being aware of his talents, Bo continues to further his development in his professional career. During the conversation, Jan also provides a different perspective on elite athletes: is reverence for your coach a talent you must possess?
