At TMA, we like to highlight young talents. Today, we shine a spotlight on TMA Professional Fleur Weekers. At just 27 years old, Fleur enthusiastically talks about her role: "As a corporate recruiter, my main task is hiring people, but I'm a true generalist. Luckily, our organization has a wide range of tasks. So, I also focus on the candidate experience and onboarding."
Candidate Experience
The emphasis on candidate experience and welcoming is successful, as candidates are very satisfied with Kabisa. "We strongly emphasize this. There's always pie, and upon arrival, there's a large chalkboard with the candidate's name written on it." In this process, TMA is indispensable because the second interview always includes a feedback session on the TMA Talent Analysis. This provides valuable insight for the candidate and allows for a different kind of conversation. Kabisa also uses the TMA Method to assess the extent to which the candidate aligns with the core values: Genuine, healthy, and driven, as well as the KPIs; such as ambition, craftsmanship, quality, and the drive to write high-quality code (software). Once inside, new employees quickly adapt and embrace the organization's values and culture.
Matching Employees with Projects
At Kabisa, TMA ensures that the right person is matched with the right project. Fleur explains: "The group manager next to me in a follow-up interview is responsible for placing the right person in the right position, so that they, we, and the client are happy. By using TMA, we can form a solid understanding of this person, their talents, and motivations, which helps us in this regard. For example, if someone is more group-oriented and needs a sounding board, we arrange that. If someone prefers to work autonomously and individually, we ensure they are assigned to projects where that's possible." This aspect of TMA resonates with Fleur: "Every talent counts! When talent becomes visible and you are placed in the right position, you can achieve a lot."
TMA for Young Professionals
We asked Fleur how she thinks TMA can help young professionals. "I think young people in today's world are overwhelmed by all the possibilities. They feel they need to excel at everything right now, especially things they're not yet good at." TMA can help young professionals identify their own talents and recognize their value. "For many young people, self-identification is something they do later in life. We have many employees between 25 and 35 years old. We're already focusing on raising awareness and developing their talents." According to Fleur, investing in the development of young professionals fosters loyalty. In her own development, Fleur is far from finished at Kabisa. "The best part of my job is analyzing people and making matches. I also think it would be great to assist with development issues using TMA. That's what I'm working towards!"
