Learn everything you as a manager need to know about finding, retaining, and developing talent. Leadership with Talent! is a highly practical, immediately applicable training, entirely focused on optimizing team talent utilization. During this training, Dr. Mirjam Baars teaches managers everything about talent management in just one day.She delivers the training alongside Maurice van Raalte, an expert in talent management and the TMA Method. Through the combination with TMA, participants leave with both vision and practical tools. A day full of inspiration, useful tools, and a lot of positivity!

Purpose of the Training

After this training, you will know how to develop (young) talent, apply talent management concretely to retain talent, increase ownership, and understand your role as a leader as the linchpin in all of this.

Dr. Mirjam Baars, MBA

Leidinggeven aan talent! was developed by Dr. Mirjam Baars in collaboration with TMA. Mirjam Baars is a lecturer and researcher at Fontys University of Applied Sciences, managing director of Satisaction, and author of 'Leidinggeven aan Talentontwikkeling' (Leading Talent Development), the leading book on talent development. TMA - the Talent Company has over 20 years of experience in finding, retaining, and developing talent.

Learning journey

The Leidinggeven aan talent! training doesn't end after the training day. It's actually a practical training focused on real-world application. Through relevant assignments and peer coaching, you'll immediately apply what you've learned. You'll receive support through the online learning platform. By practicing, you'll quickly become proficient in talent management. This way, your team and organization will experience the benefits of talent management firsthand!

Information

The training begins online at least two weeks before the training day. Then, the training day takes place on-site. In the two months following the training day, you will work on talent management on your own, which we will discuss during a peer coaching session. To participate, you must meet the following criteria: you are a manager or leader, and you lead a team. Additionally, you have a recent TMA analysis, validated by a TMA professional. If you don't have one, please contact a TMA professional in your organization or reach out to TMA via trainingen@tma.nl.

Result

Participants report that after the training, they have gained many new insights. They can effectively apply talent management in practice. They know how to empower their team to take ownership of their responsibilities. They understand how to integrate older and younger employees to retain both. Additionally, participants highlight that they had an enjoyable day and gained energy and inspiration from the training!
